FAQS
We personally enjoy a good FAQ, hope you do too!
If you have any questions about your roof we haven't answered, give us a call, shoot us a text or send out an email! Carrier Pigeons no longer available.
If I have damage to my roof and I think it is related to a wind storm will my insurance company cover the repair?
In Montana, if your roof is older than 15 years and it has sustained damage from wind your insurance will cover a full roof replacement if exact match shingles cannot be found.
Do you serve areas outside of Kalispell?
We sure do! We will happily come to all of Flathead County.
Do you install metal?
Yes, we do! We offer a few options and price points to get you exactly what you're looking for. Whether it's a full mechanical lock standing seam roof or corrugated metal, we've got what you're looking for. We no longer install tuff rib metal.
Do you offer free estimates?
Yes! Free estimates and consultations.
Do you upcharge?
We almost never charge additional fees! Our estimates are usually converted to invoices with no additional cost to you, sometimes we come in lower than expected! If we discover a problem on your roof while tearing it off or repairing, we will discuss it with you first before making additional purchases or repairs.
How long will it take you to replace my roof?
It depends on the size and pitch of your roof as well as weather conditions, but we aim to be out of your hair in 1-2 days for the average project and 2-4 on the bigger ones!
What are signs of a failing roof?
Missing shingles/ridge cap, moss growth, leaks and visible fiber glass are some of the big ones. It's not always easy to see from the ground but give us a call and we will get you a free inspection.
How long should my roof last?
Depending on what grade shingle you get, the average is 20-30 years, sometimes longer with a designer shingle. Fastener free metal roofs (mechanical lock standing seam) should last a lifetime where screw down metal will need to have additional upkeep to keep it water tight over the years. In regions that experience severe weather conditions such as high winds, snow, and significant rainfall, roofs generally have shorter life expectancies. It is very important to have your roof installed by a certified installer because the warranty options are far superior.
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes!
Who is your favorite character from the Office?
Dwight, obviously.
